The cats pictured here are not for sale. They are a part of a silver and gold Persian
breeding program. Over the past few years there has been an effort to
expand the breeding program to include blue silvers and blue golds
(dilutes) while still producing the traditional silvers and golds. Here you will
see the first, second, and now third generation of this 5 year quest for dilutes
(blues).
None of our cats are CPCs (Color Point Carriers) which are the non-pointed offsrping from Himalayan bloodlines. All CPCs can have their parentage traced back to their Siamese foundation. Although they look like "pure Persians," CPCs can be identified on pedigrees as having a 3000 number as the prefix of their registration number. The Siamese heritage can never be bred out of a bloodline once it has been introduced. All subsequent offspring will carry the CPC designator for an infinite number of future generations. Therefore, with my breeding program being so small, I have made the decision to not introduce the CPC gene into the bloodline I am developing. Some breeders don't care, but I do. : )
Recently, we have added back into the breeding program, black smokes and solids to improve head-type and body structure on the Silvers and Golds and to spice things up a bit around here with some variety. But perhaps the biggest surprise is the addition of a solid white male. Since he masks black, he will also be used to improve the Silver and Gold bloodline in addition to producing beautiful white kittens.

A close-up of the Blue Gold coat color.

The color Blue Gold is difficult to explain and imagine once described. A
shaded Blue Gold Persian (Skeeter is pictured here in our close-up) has two-toned fur consisting of a warm, golden color closest to the body,
tipped with pale blue. This combination of colors can give the Blue Gold a warm, lavender appearance, especially on the legs.
