Healthy, pedigreed Persians in the colors of Silver, Gold, Blue Silver, and Blue Gold along with the occasional colors of White, Black Smoke, Solid Black, Gold Tabby, and Brown Tabby.
Alchemist is a small, private cattery that is registered with The Cat Fancier's Association (CFA). All of our cats and kittens are purely bred Persians, meaning there are no Himalayans, CPCs, or Exotics in our bloodline. All of our cats and kittens are registered exclusively with CFA but they can be registered with other associations if you choose to do so. We are inspected annually by a licensed Veterinarian and have been awarded the prestigious title of CFA Cattery of Excellence under the guidelines and recommendations of the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA).
Our home is a very loving and cat friendly place, settled quite happily in North Georgia. All of our kittens are raised "under foot" and at 10-12 weeks of age, they are ready to go live "under your feet." We take pride in how we raise and maintain our cats and encourage you come visit us in person before you purchase one of our kittens.
All of our cats and kittens are kept strictly indoors in a home environment to keep them safe and healthy, and free from parasites and predators; we expect you to do the same after acquiring one of our kittens or cats. All of our cats live within the very heart of our home; never in a basement, garage, or outbuilding.
This is not a business - nor is it a hobby - our cats are our family and breeding and showing them is done solely for our own personal pleasure. Although our mission is to create cats that can be competitively shown at CFA sponsored shows, we frequently have kittens that do not meet the CFA show standards (traditional doll face) and offer them for sale as pets. All pet kittens are sold with a written health guarantee, a spay/neuter agreement, and have all shots appropriate for their age.
We are content to have only a few, select cats in our breeding program; and although we will always breed traditional shaded and chinchilla Silvers and Goldens, we have added to our color selection the newly recognized colors of Blue Silver and Blue Golden. These ethereal colors represent the dedication and hard work of breeders over the past few years making it now possible for these spectacular cats and kittens to be available to pet homes. Whether you prefer the traditional Silvers and Goldens or the unique Blue Silvers and Blue Goldens, we know you will appreciate the broader spectrum of colors now available while maintaining the traditional shining radiance and sparkle of these delightful cats.
